From Interstate 64:
- Take Exit 78, Boulevard (VA 161).
- Take the left fork on exit and turn LEFT at the stop sign onto Hermitage Road.
- Turn RIGHT at first light onto Robin Hood Road.
- Turn RIGHT at first light onto Boulevard. Get into right hand turning lane.
- Take a "SOFT” RIGHT turn at the five-way intersection onto Westwood Avenue (not a "hard" right onto Brookland Pkwy).
Go approximately 1 mile past 2 lights.
- Turn LEFT onto Hawthorne Avenue.

The Rec Center will be on your right at the corner of Hawthorne and Walton - park on street.
