The
Charleston patterns
taught in this class range from Solo Charleston to
the Partnered / Tandem Charleston from the historical
beginnings of Lindy Hop in the 1920's and 30's.
The Charleston was a Vernacular
Jazz dance that was wildly popular in the early 20s,
and evolved into Lindy Hop's swingout.
This class can be taken without any experience.
